“You’ve lied to us all,” Alison points out about 20 minutes in. There’s a huge surprise in the very first scene of tonight’s excellent, absorbing, penultimate “The Affair.” Ruth Wilson is handed some big scenes and she does an amazing job with them. And if you’ve been missing Dale from “The Walking Dead,” Jeff DeMunn turns up as a doctor. I can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s season finale. (To anticipate the question, “The Affair” was long ago renewed for a second season.)
