Yahoo has released the first trailer for TAKEN director Pierre Morel’s next film, THE GUNMAN starring Sean Penn:
Yes, it looks exactly like another TAKEN, but I am still a sucker for films like this. It’s got an awesome supporting cast (Javier Bardem, Ray Winstone, Idris Elba, and Mark Rylance) and Sean Penn has always had a really great edge to him that makes him perfect for a role like this. If the film follows through on this trailer and is just a dark, brutal, R-rated adult action film, it will live up to its intended audience’s (which includes me) expectations.
THE GUNMAN opens March 20th, 2015.
