This hit over the Thanksgiving holiday and hasn’t gone away yet, so…
Via Rotten Tomatoes and Comic Book Movie comes what appears to be an official synopsis for Josh Trank’s upcoming FANTASTIC FOUR movie.
This is an odd one because, to the best of anyone’s knowledge, there hasn't been an official synopsis of the picture issued through standard channels. Which, these days, doesn’t mean a great deal given how the distribution of such information is transforming on a regular basis.
As RT has been rather deft at policing such matters in the past, and as this write-up feels fundamentally correct in its style, so the chances of this being legit are fairly high.
THE FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. (C) Fox
