AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON to have some reshoots in January, what does this mean for possible appearances of new superheroes!?!

Hey Yo, Draven here.

News came out on Thanksgiving via The Daily Mail, that most of the actors and Joss Whedon will get together again in January for some reshoots on AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. While that is not really big news as Marvel has had reshoots on most of their films and plans for them, the fact that we now have a Black Panther actor, and we know that Wakanda plays a part in the film, makes this news a little more interesting.

Devin Faraci (who I know has read the script and has been dead on with most of his Marvel news) speculates about this far better than most could over at Badass Digest. He thinks there is a possibility that Captain Marvel is cast by January and might now show up at the end of the film along with Black Panther. He claims that in an earlier version of the script, Captain America ended the film by assembling his own group of Avengers. I don’t know if this is why these reshoots are happening (and the chances are slim) but it would be a great way to set up CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and Marvel always has a few surprises up their sleeves.

The other bit of news in that Daily Mail report, is that AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR PART 1 & 2 will shoot back-to-back. This is no surprise at all and most assumed this would be the case.
