Based on the title of this trailer’s YouTube upload, it seems this is the final trailer for THE INTERVIEW - starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, and co-directed by Rogen and THIS IS THE END alum Evan Goldberg.
And, I’m kinda glad this is the final trailer for the picture - as nothing I’ve seen from the project thus far has made me crack even the slightest smile.
We recently learned that a number of tweaks were being brought to THE INTERVIEW in the wake of controversy and concerns about its approach to subject matter and setting. We’ll see whether or not such efforts pay off when the picture releases Christmas Day.
Which seems a really, really strange day to release a movie like this. I do kinda like that poster, though...
