The Michael Bay-produced found-footage time-travel film PROJECT ALMANAC has been given a new (better) title, and is on track for release in January. You may remember seeing trailers for the film earlier this year, under its previous title, WELCOME TO YESTERDAY. The film is the story of a group of teenagers who discover a time travel device, go on adventures through time and then proceed to break the universe.
It got some positive buzz after a successful Comic-Con screening over the summer, and is finally heading to theaters on January 30th.
A new trailer has been released (via MTV). It gives us a better peek at the nature of the consequences that begin to present themselves when teens start messing with time and history, even something as simple and presumably harmless as their own.
