Last week Nucky gave up control of Atlantic City to save his attorney nephew – or did he? Now that Willie is free, how can Charlie and Meyer be certain Nucky will make good on his promise?

Enoch Johnson remained the head of Atlantic City’s political machine until 1941, when he began a four-year stint in prison for income tax evasion -- and subsequently worked in sales for Ritchfield Oil and Renault Winery. He died in 1968 at age 85. But Enoch Johnson’s father was a longtime Atlantic County sheriff and political boss in the 1880s (before the reign of The Commodore), so there are already perhaps more differences than similarities in the biographies of Enoch Johnson and Enoch Thompson.)

In 1897, Nucky copes with a family crisis, while making a deal with the Commodore that will settle his future.
