The first cancellation of the new broadcast season goes to ABC’s critically reviled “Manhattan Love Story,” created by “John Tucker Must Die”/“Hotel For Dogs” screenwriter Jeff Lowell.
It lasted four episodes.
New episodes of “Selfie” (likely the next series ABC cancels) will fill “Manhattan Love Story’s” Tuesday timeslot staring Nov. 4.
Generally speaking, for ABC to drop a “school night” (Sunday through Thursday) show on the air, that show has to stay below a 1.4 rating in adults 18-49.
