We’ve mentioned Vin Diesel’s upcoming fantasy/thriller THE LAST WITCH HUNTER here on the site a few times.
The picture finds Diesel’s (immortal?) Witch Hunter partnering with a witch he’d otherwise be hunting to thwart an evil master plan being hatched by the witches of modern New York City. There must be a sexier way to describe this film - I haven’t had much coffee yet, though.
We’ve heard little else about the picture so far - other than it’s directed by Breck Eisner (SAHARA and THE CRAZIES) and it co-stars Elija Wood and Michael Caine. Precious few images haver escaped the set - most of what we’ve seen have come from Vin himself via his Facebook page.
One new bit of information has just now come around: the picture’s releases date is October 23, 2015. Just in time for Halloween next year. I’ve been sensing this movie was more of an action fantasy - might this timing suggest it emphasizes horror more? Interesting either way…
