The Director Of Disney/Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR Draws The Film’s Dino Lead!!

 THE GOOD DINOSAUR concept art

Disney/Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR arrives in theaters November 2015, nearly a year and a half past its originally originally intended May 2014 issuance.

Seems there were some issues which resulted in Bob Peterson (Co-Director of UP) being removed from the project, which was then continued by helmer Peter Sohn (who brought us the Pixar short PARTLY CLOUDY).  The concept, according to John Lithgow (who is voicing a character), was pretty much disassembled and re-imagined.

Since the dust-up, little has been learned about the picture, although we know the thrust of its concept poses the question, ‘What would’ve happened if the asteroid which wiped out the dinosaurs missed?’

The veil of cloudiness around the project appears to be ever-so-slowly lifting now, as evidenced by a recent Tweet via Disney/Pixar’s official stream, in which Sohn drawing the film’s lead dinosaur, Arlo.

The embed coding used by Twitter doesn’t play with with AICN’s techno-structure, but you can find said video HERE.

THE GOOD DINOSAUR is heading towards a November 25, 2015 release with voice work by Neil Patrick Harris, Bill Hader,  the above-mentioned John Lithgow, Judy Greer, and Francis McDormand.
