Is Jena Malone playing Carrie Kelley a.k.a. Robin in BATMAN V. SUPERMAN?!!

Is that the red hair of Carrie Kelley?

An alleged extra on BATMAN V. SUPERMAN, who apparently was wary yet ultimately indifferent to a possible $5 million lawsuit, has revealed a couple of crucial details regarding the film to Michigan neww channel WILX:

First, there's the reveal of a party fight scene between Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne. It's Bruce, not Batman, but somehow the scene will involve a ton of special effects and the presence of the military.

Then, more surprisingly, there's the notion that Jena Malone is playing Robin to Ben Affleck's Batman in this already-cluttered superhero throwdown. As dubious as this report is, it's worth considering for a number of reasons:

1. We know Malone is in the film. She was spotted on the set back in August.

2. No one has any idea just who she is playing in the film. Presumably, if she actually suits up as Robin for any scene, then there are a ton of people who already know this news, and it would just be a matter of time before the news would get out in a sloppy way such as this.

3. Kelley's big debut appearance as Robin was in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. This movie was somewhat modeled on and was initially presented as…The Dark Knight Returns.

4. We had indeed heard that Robin was a part of the script, and that he and Batman will have already been on the outs for some time when BVS begins. And again, we hadn't heard mum on who would be playing him/her, or even what incarnation of the Boy Wonder we'd be seeing.

If this is true, expect a big splashy publicity shot of Malone in costume from WB as confirmation (unless they stick to their guns and keep Robin in the Mystery Box), but there's no concrete evidence in either direction yet. Still, it's looking like a definite possibility that Snyder brought in his Rocket from SUCKER PUNCH to inject just a little more girl power into the testosterone-fueled dueling of BATMAN V SUPERMAN.

BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will sell a store's worth of action figures on March 25th, 2016.
