Coatee-cha!! Warwick Davis will appear in STAR WARS: EPISODE VII!!

Say what you will about the Ewoks, but there's no doubt they kickstarted Warwick Davis' onscreen career. Without Wicket, there'd be no WILLOW, no LEPRECHAUN, and certainly no LIFE'S TOO SHORT, and the role remains a benchmark in the actor's professional life, on top of being a young boy's dream. You only need to look at that small pic above to get a sense of how excited 11-year old Davis was to be on the JEDI set.

Given his wide range of abilities, it seems like a given that J.J. and Kathleen Kennedy would reach out to Davis for, at the very least, a cameo in EPISODE VII. And, three weeks before the film wraps, we have news that they did just that.

We have no idea who Warwick's playing, but we can assume it's as a new character, and not a returning, older Wicket. Davis already played a handful of non-Wicket roles in THE PHANTOM MENACE, so it's not like it'd be breaking canon to feature him as someone else. I don't imagine this is going to be a sizable role, more like a little background seasoning like his HARRY POTTER appearances, but it'll be awesome to see the actor back in the universe that introduced him to the world.

But seriously, if an older Wicket showed up and kicked some serious Imperial ass, would you really be that pissed?

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII - THE BLAH BLAH OF THE BLAH BLAH flies in December 18th, 2015.
