Tomorrow, Disney is unveiling the first footage from Brad Bird's TOMORROWLAND at the New York Comic-Con. In advance of that highly-anticipated drop, Entertainment Weekly has provided our first real look at the film via the gorgeous concept art above and the two stills below (unwatermarked scans via Indiewire).
They both feature Casey, played by Britt Robertson (the girl locked in the bomb shelter in S1 of UNDER THE DOME), who's ostensibly more of a lead than George Clooney's failed inventor, Frank Walker, seen in the first pic.
Dig that Emerald City-style cityscape in the background.
For more details about the magic-pin-centered plot of TOMORROWLAND, visit EW. This is sounding like it could be a nostalgic blast of optimistic fun if the Disney cuteness is kept in check. Since it's Brad Bird, I'm hoping for the best.
