Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. ABCs of Death 2 is damn good. I enjoyed the first one, but the sequel has a much better hit to miss ratio, which makes all the difference when you've got 26 shorts lined up in one go.
One of my favorite segments was Jim Hosking's G is for Grandad, a twisted little story about a weird old man and his asshole grandson. Decidedly English and Lynchian in its fucked up twists and turns, G is for Grandad will make you laugh and cringe, probably at the same time.
So, when I was asked by my buddy Ryan at Fons PR if I was up for showcasing one of the segments from ABCs 2 on AICN, I asked if it could be this particular short. He agreed and today, celebrating ABCs of Death 2's VOD bow, we're debuting an image from the segment. We'll also have an interview with Jim Hosking coming up next week and another surprise goody or two.

If you are planning on VODing the flick tonight, make sure to check in on Twitter using the hashtag #DeathParty. Drafthouse Films' Tim League, producer Ant Timpson and a ton of the ABCs filmmakers will be holding a live tweet party using that hashtag starting at 10pm EST. Those guys are crazy-balls, so it's bound to be super entertaining and probably more than a little fucked up.
