After 15 years on the air, “Big Brother” was for the first time ever last week renewed for two seasons at once. The finale of summer’s biggest series hit a season high last Wednesday.
“Survivor,” with an all-newbie relaunch of its blood vs. water concept, enjoyed its biggest fall launch in years.
“Modern Family’s” season premiere caught a 4.2 last fall and a 5.5 the fall before that.
“South Park” was cable’s top show last Wednesday, giving big boosts to “Key & Peele,” “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report.”
“Red Band Society” lost a big chunk of audience and finished as the night’s lowest-rated show on the Big Four last Wednesday.
Greg Belanti’s “Mysteries of Laura” fell hard in its second week. If you want a show few will watch, hire writer-producer Greg Berlanti to make it for you.
