THE MARKED ONES was not quite the franchise booster that Paramount thought it would be for the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY series when it was released at the beginning of this year (although I found it to be pretty entertaining). This left a lot of doubt and confusion over the future of the franchise but it appears that it will continue on.
The Wrap is reporting that Paramount will be releasing PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE GHOST DIMENSION on March 13, 2015. This new installment is set to put the focus back on the demonic Katie and without giving anything away, I don’t know what the GHOST DIMENSION is referring to but the series has really opened up to possibilities for elements like that. Hopefully, they decide to do something new with this new film because the found footage gimmick in a house is pretty tired at this point.
