Nordling here.
I head to Austin on Thursday morning, and for the next week, I'll be waist deep in food, karaoke, and awesome cinema. I can't wait, and yet, I know that week will be fleeting, so I intend to enjoy as much of it as I can, and take pleasure in the little things. Harry, Quint, and I will be diving full on into Fantastic Fest for the next week and this year's lineup is the best I've yet seen, and they haven't even announced the secret screenings yet. I want to see everything, and I know I won't be able to. Hell, EVERLY and SPRING, two of my most anticipated films of the fest, are screening at the same time. I'll make as much effort as possible to see what's great, what's good, and what's worth writing about.
I will say this - I'm not watching some of these trailers, but there may be attendees of Fantastic Fest that want to have a taste of the movies they'll be scrutinizing their schedule for, and making decisions on what to see. Also, there will be many repeats of films so if you miss the first screening, you can still catch it when it plays again. I'll be taking advantage of press screenings this year, for certain. Here is the final wave of trailers for Fantastic Fest 2014! Thanks to Noah Lee of the Fantastic Fest Fiends Facebook page for compiling many of these trailers. You can see them all here.
