TRAFFIC Trailer Online!

Published at:  Sep 08, 2000 7:44:37 PM CDT

Hey folks, Harry here with a look at the trailer for TRAFFIC. This is, in my opinion, an excellent trailer for the film... a teaser that is. It really communicates the vast scale of the film, showing you some of the players and how large and far reaching the film works to cover. This is Steven Soderbergh's gigantic opus about the world of drugs... the addicts, the retailers, the smugglers, the cops, the politicians, the children, the mules, the federales, the narcs, the... well... you get the idea. Here's your first look at it!

I've got the teaser for Traffic (which is attached to Nurse Betty this
weekend) for download on my site at:
PetesMoviePage.Com/Trailers

Here's the link to the page on Pete's site that has the trailers: Click Here

Or the trailer is mirrored over here at this link: CLICK HERE

Feels a lot like Clear and Present Danger

Despite Harry's claims (or hype)that this will somehow cause a major national dialogue on drugs, I'm really looking forward to this.

Harry hypes every movie up, it kinda pisses me off too. His site has great news and everything but Harry himself has the worst taste in movies and can't predict diddly shit. Traffic will probably be good though.

    Harry's hype

    by moovees

I read a version of the Traffic script several months ago and while I have no idea if it's the same one Harry read, I have to say that he isn't exagerating or...whatever it is you say he's doing. If this film becomes a hit (which I suspect it will), you can expect a lot of talk about the war against drugs. Can't wait to see it...

Uh... I forgot that Harry's also seen a roughcut of the film, so he probably has an even better idea. Don't be so cynical.

Ford, babe, you missed out. You will regret not being a part of Steven Soderbergh's film. You too, Kevin.

I am surprised the words "From the director of Erin Brokovich" never came up in the trailer. Looks like a winner.
