This one’s helmed by Chad Stahelski, a longtime stunt coordinator on numerous, impressively high-end productions (he worked with Keanu on THE MATRIX films and the Reeves-directed, rather well done MAN OF TAI-CHI). Stahelski also helmed Second Unit on the first two HUNGER GAMES pictures, THE EXPENDABLES 2, SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS, and AFTER EARTH (which I suppose we can potentially overlook).
Truthfully, I’m a little confused by the tone of this trailer. Part of me thinks the cliches and whatnot are intentional and darkly satirical - as other scenes indicate the film has a sense of humor. On the other hand, part of me's not so sure…
Whichever the case, looks like some fun might be had when this hits screens October 24.
