TNT Nearing Pilot Order For Live-Action TEEN TITANS Series From BATMAN & ROBIN Writer Akiva Goldsman??

I am – Hercules!!

Akiva Goldsman, who wrote the two worst Batman movies to date (and the only two since 1966 featuring Dick Grayson), is developing a new TV series focused on Robin’s superhero team The Teen Titans.

The live action TNT project, titled “Titans,” will follow Grayson’s adventures with a collective of other teen heroes.

In 1965 the Teen Titans began with the sidekicks of Justice League members Batman, Green Arrow, The Flash, Aquaman and Wonder Woman – Robin, Speedy, Kid Flash, Aqualad and Wonder Girl, respectively – forming their own super-team.

In the 1980s the team expanded to absorb Doom Patrol sidekick Beast Boy and less sidekick-y characters like the hot alien Starfire, the hot sorceress Raven, and the hot cyborg Cyborg. Batgirl, Supergirl, Superboy, Miss Martain and loads of other young DC characters have cycled through the team over the years.

The team has been depicted in animated series “Teen Titans” and “Teen Titans Go,” and quasi-depicted in the animated series “Young Justice.”

For those keeping count, DC now has “Gotham,” “Constantine,” and “Flash” joining “Arrow” this fall, with “iZombie” arriving midseason and a Supergirl series being pitched to cable and streaming venues.

Marvel has “Agents of SHIELD” back this fall, plus “Agent Carter” arriving midseason, and “Daredevil,” “Iron Fist,” “Luke Cage,” “Jessica Jones” and “The Defenders” all greenlit by Netflix.
