Speaking with MTV about his upcoming appearance in Marvel’s now-filming ANT-MAN movie, Michael Douglas addresses an issue followers of the comics and film have been mulling since word of his precise casting came about:
Given that his character in the picture (Hank Pym) is inventor of the Ant-Man technology utilized by Paul Rudd in the film, might we feasibly see Douglas either in Ant-costume, or shrinking down, as well?
MTV: So, are you robbed of the opportunity to do a superhero costume after all these years? No flashback sequences?
DOUGLAS: Yeah - no. The good thing is Paul Rudd is ripped; he’s been training and working out for this picture for a long time. He was so cut they actually had to soften his costume up, even with all the built-in six packs and all of that. My costume will be hung up. Paul will be wearing it in good form.
