James Corden, who created, wrote and starred in the BBC sitcom “Gavin & Stacey,” is confirmed to replace fellow foreigner Craig Ferguson as the host of CBS’ “The Late Late Show.”
Corden also won a 2012 Tony for the lead in “One Man, Two Guvnors” and hosted a Sky1 chat show titled “A League of Their Own.”
To my ears Corden seems nowhere near as funny as the great Norm Macdonald, who has been lobbying to take over Ferguson's desk.
