In anticipation of Fox's adaptation of James Dashner's THE MAZE RUNNER, Alamo Drafthouse theaters are partnering with Forever Fest to bring 12 lucky cities an advanced screening of the film - a whole week before its wide release.

PLUS...following the screening, Forever Fest founders Brandy Fons and Sarah Pitre will be hosting a live Q&A with Dashner himself, as well as Wes Ball, director of the new film. The Q&A will be hosted live at the Austin theater, and simultaneously broadcast to the other participating theaters, AND will be streaming here on AICN. So even if you aren't fortunate enough to be close enough to a drafthouse to be there live, you still have access to the interview footage. And if you are a fan of the book, I imagine a Q&A with both the author and with the film's director could give you a good idea of how they decided to approach the adaptation.

Austin, TX - Friday, September 5, 2014 - Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and Forever Fest are excited to present nationwide advance screenings of Twentieth Century Fox's THE MAZE RUNNER in twelve Alamo Drafthouse theaters nationwide on Thursday, September 11 at 8PM ET/7PM CT. Brandy Fons and Sarah Pitre, Forever Fest co-founders, will host a Q&A with James Dashner, author of THE MAZE RUNNER novel, and Wes Ball, director of the film adaptation, following the screenings. The Q&A will be live at the Austin theater, while simultaneously streaming to other participating Alamo Drafthouse theaters nationwide and on Ain't It Cool News. The 30-minute Q&A will begin at 10:15pm ET/9:15pm CT.
