The Powers That Be have issued an interesting reel illustrating the kind of character we can expect from Denzel Washington’s ‘McCall’ in helmer Antoine Fuqua’s forthcoming adaptation of the EQUALIZER television series.
I don’t recall the series with vast clarity, although I enjoyed it a whenever I watched it, but the “Equalizer”s MO here feels a tad different from what we saw with series star Edward Woodward’s interpretation. More defined, less ‘in the shadows’ perhaps?
Come what may, I’m rather liking what we’ve seen from this film so far. It opens in theaters September 26.
