Robert Lorenz is one of those folks whose been around for quite some time, even though you may not necessarily recognize his work. He was First Assistant Director on MILLION DOLLAR BABY, which he also Executive Produced. He also Produced MYSTIC RIVER and was First AD on that film. He produced TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE, which he also directed. His credits are considerable, and frequently involve Clint Eastwood to a high degree.
Looks like this is about to change a bit for Lorenz, who is now heading into a project called PAST DUE, which he may direct and produce from a script by Thompson Evans.
“Past Due” is described as a female version of David Cronenberg’s “A History of Violence,” released in 2005 by New Line.
