"She Never Left..." Teaser Trailer for THE WOMAN IN BLACK: ANGEL OF DEATH!

Hey guys! Horrorella here...

THE WOMAN IN BLACK saw Hammer films returning to form in a big bad way. The turn-of-the-century–set ghost story was positively dripping in atmosphere, and was home to some of the best-executed scares in recent memory. The haunting and isolated setting, the classic gothic story, the effective use of sound all helped to create a movie that terrified audiences and critics alike.

Director Tom Harper is stepping behind the camera for this new film, hoping to recapture that creepy magic again. The sequel is titled THE WOMAN IN BLACK: ANGEL OF DEATH, and it will take place 40 years after the events of the first film, during the second World War.

England, 1941. With London in the midst of the blitz, two teachers evacuate a group of schoolchildren to the abandoned Eel Marsh House. Seeking safety from the bombs in the remote coastal location, the group instead find themselves facing an evil far more frightening when their arrival awakens the Woman in Black.

This teaser is short, and doesn't really focus on the film's plot. Rather, it serves as more of a re-introduction to the setting of Eel Marsh House and what lies within.

The film stars Jeremy Irvine (WAR HORSE) and Helen McRory (PENNY DREADFUL). It is set for release in the U.K. on February 13th. Hopefully the U.S. will see a release around the same time.
