Spoilers for ANT-MAN ahead so continue at your own risk...
One of the rumored disputes that Edgar Wright and Marvel had before he left ANT-MAN, was that Marvel wanted him to tie the film into the Marvel Cinematic Universe more than he had written into his script. Specifically they wanted him to incorporate characters we have already seen into his story.
Well, Latino Review has a scoop on who a few of those characters might be. They are reporting that Howard Stark, Peggy Carter, Arnim Zola and a young Alexander Pierce will all make appearances during ANT-MAN. Howard Stark is of course Tony’s dad, Peggy Carter was the love interest for Captain America during WWII, Arnim Zola was the right hand man for the Red Skull, and Alexander Pierce was the character played by Robert Redford in THE WINTER SOLDIER.
I am sure that won't be it for reappearing characters, but it will be interesting to see them try and tie-in the Hank Pym/Ant-Man origin with some of the older Marvel Universe characters.
