Cartoon Network newcomer “Black Jesus” was last Thursday’s top cable show.
“Mom” did much better than “The Millers” in filling the slot between “Big Bang” and “Big Brother.” It may in fact be responsible for the Thursday edition of “Brother” matching its season high. CBS’ momentum even carred over to its 10 p.m. repeat of “Elementary,” giving the eye net all four of the night’s top four broadcasts.
And the boost CBS got from dropping “Millers” last Thursday may explain how “Gang Related,” “The Quest” and “Welcome to Sweden” (the latter just renewed for next summer) all hitting new season lows.
