MASSIVE SPOILERS ahead for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE so turn back now but it appears we now know what the ultimate plan is for the film and what it might be setting up for JUSTICE LEAGUE. Geek Tyrant was able to speak with an extra on set and they had this to say:
"According to the extra, the ending of the film has already been filmed. One of the scenes shot featured Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal kryptonite, and apparently Lexcorp had somehow gotten ahold of General Zod's body."
So it sounds like General Zod’s body will be used by Lex Luthor to ultimately create Doomsday in an attempt to kill the Man of Steel. This will most likely ultimately bring the heroes together to create the JUSTICE LEAGUE. This mostly matches up with rumors that we were hearing a few weeks ago, so it sounds legitimate.
I really like that it seems like this DC universe is going to get a little bit away from the grounded reality that Nolan’s Bat films and the first MAN OF STEEL existed in. This will be good for the expanded universe and ultimately it will hopefully make all of the films more interesting.
