Want to see the inside of the Millenium Falcon? Why, of course you do!

From the first minute we heard about the to-scale Millenium Falcon being built at Pinewood (complete with those first few tantalizing shots), we've been geeking out at the very notion of its existence. In this age of CGI everything, J.J.'s devotion to the practical, "lived-in" world of the OT was evident in that first decision to have the Falcon as a living, breathing, and in the flesh entity. Today, some pics have leaked from the set giving us an idea of what Han and Lando's baby looks like from the inside.

God, I'm jealous of Kevin Smith right now.

That hallway, the brown leather seats, the retro-style analog controls, it's all so unfathomably pitch-perfect. This is the Millenium Falcon from our childhood updated to 2014 without any significant alterations to the design we know and love.

We should be grateful.

For good measure, here's a fourth, almost-certainly non-Falcon pic that leaked with the others. It has an Imperial look, all cold and steely grey, and looks kind of like the hall of the prison quarters Leia was confined to in A NEW HOPE. An Imperial Cruiser left over from the dark times, perhaps?

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII will make the Kessel Run in less than 2 parsecs on December 18th, 2015.
