First Poster for THE HATEFUL EIGHT Arrives, Confirming 2015 Release!

Hey guys! Horrorella here...

A poster has debuted for Quentin Tarantino’s THE HATEFUL EIGHT, cementing it as the next film he will take on, and even securing it a 2015 release date.

The film has already had a rather storied history, and it’s barely in pre-production. Last year, Tarantino had been hinting around that the project may be getting under way, but was still in the scripting stages. The script was published online without his consent, leading him to trash the entire thing, vowing to never shoot it. Thankfully, time has eroded some of his (completely justifiable) anger, and after a very successful live script reading (check out Papa Vinyard’s thoughts here), he is once again moving ahead with production.

We heard rumblings recently that he might be gearing up to shoot early next year, and this poster release pretty much confirms it.

Which makes the rest of us very happy that we will have the opportunity to see this bad boy on the big screen. And when I say big screen, I mean BIG. As the poster also confirms, Tarantino will be shooting The HATEFUL EIGHT in 70 mm (aka "Super CineamaScope").

Check out the poster below. The art is simple, yet compelling, giving us just a teasing hint of what is waiting for us when filming gets underway.
