Yesterday, we got our first look at Rupert Friend as the title character of the upcoming HITMAN: AGENT 47 via the above banner (first seen at Comic-Con) and the below two stills showing 47 in action:
Right off the bat, I think we can all agree that Rupert Friend looks a lot less awkward with the iconic bald head and red tie than Timothy Olyphant did as the same character. Friend has shown a steely intensity at a C.I.A. badass on HOMELAND, and that hollow professionalism should be welcome in his perf as the elusive, deadly Agent 47.
The film also stars Zachary Quinto, Thomas Kretchmann, and Ciaran Hinds. We should hear/see more about their characters when we see the trailer in the next few months (or sooner).
HITMAN: AGENT 47 executes on February 27th, 2015.
