Hey guys! Horrorella here...
A trailer has emerged for the new film from directors The Spierig brothers. He last worked with them on 2009's vampire fantasy DAYBREAKERS.
This new film, PREDESTINATION, looks like a potentially mind-bendy sci-fi time-travel piece. It follows a temporal agent (played by Ethan Hawke) who travels through time, preventing crimes before they can occur.
Check out the trailer:
Granted, DAYBREAKERS had its problems, as did the Spierigs' earlier film UNDEAD, but I still thought they were both interesting genre entries, and found stuff to like about each of them. And yes, even though "the fizzle bomber" is kind of a silly name, I am still quite curious to see what the duo has in store on this new film. There is a lot going on here, and I can't wait to see how it all comes together.
PREDESTINATION doesn't currently have a U.S. release date, but it is scheduled to play at the Fantasia International Film Festival in the coming weeks, so maybe we'll hear something from there.
What do you guys think?
