The Sci-Fi Channel’s excellent “Battlestar Galactica” only lasted four seasons, but TNT’s slightly similar “Falling Skies” has made it to five.
TNT just announced that next season will be the last for the extraterrestrial war series, presumably giving Noah Wyle more time to participate in the ongoing “Librarian” franchise.
TNT indicated that ratings for the drama were more than adequate, but producers felt season five was the right place to shut her down. How it fares against the other Sunday shows:
