First you fell in love with Paris. Then New York. Now, the newest film in the Cities of Love series invites you to fall in love with Brazil, in RIO, I LOVE YOU.
Like the previous anthology films, this one will focus on a series of stories all centering romance in different areas in a single city. Here, Rio will play host to segments directed by such talent as Fernando Meirelles (CIT OF GOD), Stephan Elliott (PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT), Im Sang-soo (THE HOUSEMAID), Jose Padilha (ROBOCOP remake), Paolo Sorrentino (THE GREAT BEAUTY), John Turturro (FADING GIGOLO), and others.
The cast includes Harvey Keitel, John Tuturro, Ryan Kwanten, Emily Mortimer, Vincent Cassel, Jason Isaccs and Rodrogi Santoro. The film is expected to open in Brazil on September 11th, but no U.S. release date has been announced yet.
