Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I feel no shame in admitting that I love Weird Al just as much today as I did back in his UHF heyday. The dude still has it. Straight Outta Lynwood got a ridiculous amount of play in my house and still pops up on my iTunes from time to time to make me smile.
Point is, the dude still trying to make fun of modern songs could come off as sad and weird as he coasts through middle age, but instead it's just as fun and energetic and inventive as his best '80s and '90s stuff.
So, I have high hopes for his new album, Mandatory Fun, which is released tomorrow. To mark the occasion he's released a new music video via Nerdist. The song is called Tacky and is a play on Pharrell's Happy.
