Hey guys! Horrorella here...
A new trailer has emerged for Abel Ferrara’s (MS. 45, BAD LIEUTENANT) WELCOME TO NEW YORK.
Gerard Depardieu stars as a fictionalized version of former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who caused a huge scandal in the banking industry when he was accused of sexually assaulting a hotel worker in 2011.
It looks like Ferrara is going all out and doesn’t hold back one bit. The facade of crystal, marble, fine suits and champagne can't quite conceal the seedy underbelly of an entitled and privelaged figure.
The trailer is NSFW, so view with caution. No U.S. release date has been announced yet, but the film will hit theaters in the U.K. on August 8th, and will play at the Fantasia International Film Festival later this month.
