Already this summer, EDGE OF TOMORROW has taught us that being stuck in a time loop and being forced to relive the same events can be quite advantageous (not to mention immensely entertaining).
That same GROUNDHOG DAY-style concept is also being used in PREMATURE, the directorial debut of Dan Beers. In this story, Rob (John Karna) is forced to repeatedly relive the day he lost his virginity, which, no doubt, is all kinds of painful and traumatic and awkward.
Indiewire has premiered a new clip for this raunchy comedy, which was received pretty positively when it played at SXSW earlier this year. It sounds like it will be exactly the gross-out bag of uncomfortable you would expect, but supposedly carries a ton of heart with it. It hits theaters and VOD beginning tomorrow, and will expand on July 25th.
