A new trailer has been released for THE TWO FACES OF JANUARY, an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s novel of the same name.
The story follows an American couple (played by Viggo Mortensen and Kirsten Dunst), whose picture-perfect European vacation quickly turns deadly when a mysterious man shows up at their hotel looking to collect money. A stranger (Oscar Isaac) comes to their aid, but his motivations may not be as innocent as they initially seem.
The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Hossein Amini (DRIVE), who is also scripting the project. It is set for a VOD release on August 28th, followed by a theatrical release on September 26th.
Between Highsmith's source material and Amini's adaptation, this has the potential to be a tight, engaging thriller.
