Hey guys! Horrorella here...
GAME OF THRONES star Emilia Clarke has landed another acting gig. She is currently filming the role of Sarah Conner in the upcoming TERMINATOR: GENESIS, and according to Deadline, has just signed on to psychological thriller VOICE FROM THE STONE.
The film is based on the Italian novel La Voce Della Pietra by Silvio Raffo. Set in the 1950's, it tells the story of a nurse (Clarke) who helps a young boy cope with the sudden death of his mother, only to find herself targeted by a malevolent force that resides inside the family's castle.
So we have Emilia Clarke in a 1950's-set psychological thriller involving a haunted castle. Yeah, I'm in.
The film will be the feature directorial debut of Eric D. Howell, from a script written by Andrew Shaw. A film adaptation of this novel has been in the works for awhile now, with Maggie Gyllenhaal once set to star. Production is set to begin in Italy in November.
