The Powers That Be and MSN have issued this quick reel chronicling the events which transpired between 2011’s RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and this Summer’s DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.
Some material similar to this was glimpsed in RISE’s famously apocalyptic closing sequence/end titles, but I believe this takes the tale one step further.
Meanwhile, Titan has this official DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES prequel novel which more or less connects this material to DAWN. So, there’s a fairly thorough backstory/mythos being built here.
