I want to screen this movie so bad as part of our Houston "Dungeons And Drafthouses" event, and I'm going to try my best to bring it home. If you're unfamiliar with Jack Chick, look him up on the Internet - he does Christian mini-comics decrying modern society's foibles, gay marriage, smoking, and the like. One he did, DARK DUNGEONS, was about how Dungeons and Dragons and role-playing games are a slippery, grease-ridden slide straight to hell. So, Zombie Orpheus Entertainment bought the actual rights to the comic (there was a Kickstarter for funds last year) and made a movie about it. And I'm as excited to see this as I am GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, no bullshit. It's about time the dangers of RPGs were revealed to the world. Here's the wonderful trailer, and shout with me... "RPG! RPG! RPG!"
DARK DUNGEONS opens in August, premiering at GenCon.
