The early trailers for Scott Derrickson's DELIVER US FROM EVIL seemed a little on the restrained side, but in this new footage, it looks like movie is going all out in the scares department - particularly when it comes to whatever poor bastards wind up being possessed throughout the course of the film.
Based on the book Beware the Night, by Ralph Sarchie, DELIVER US FROM EVIL is the story of a police detective (Eric Bana) who teams up with a Jesuit Priest (Edgar Ramirez) to investigate a series of strange and violent crimes.
The film is set to hit theaters on July 2nd. What do you guys think of the new trailer?
In DELIVER US FROM EVIL, New York police officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana), struggling with his own personal issues, begins investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. He joins forces with an unconventional priest (Edgar Ramirez), schooled in the rituals of exorcism, to combat the frightening and demonic possessions that are terrorizing their city.
