The latest gay-themed project from writer-director Ryan Murphy (“Glee,” “The New Normal,” “American Horror Story,” “Looking”) reunites Murphy with his “Eat Pray Love” star Julia Roberts.
Based on Larry Kramer’s play about the early 1980s AIDS crisis, it also stars Jim Parsons, BD Wong, Corey Stoll, Denis O’Hare, Matt Bomer, Joe Mantello, Jonathan Groff, Stephen Spinella, Alfred Molina, Taylor Kitsch, and Mark Ruffalo.
I’ve no idea if this will be as good or bad as “Eat Pray Love,” but I do know my favorite AIDS play will probably always be “Lease”:
