Trailer for Tribeca Favorite STAND CLEAR OF THE CLOSING DOORS!

Hey guys! Horrorella here...

STAND CLEAR OF THE CLOSING DOORS tells the story of Ricky (Jesus Sanchez-Velez), a thirteen-year-old austistic boy who finds himself lost and wandering the New York subway system. The situation is intensified by the fact that the boy is an undocumented immigrant, and the story takes place just hours before Hurricane Sandy rolls in, leaving his mother (Andrea Suarez Paz) with limited options for finding him.

The film received acclaim not only for its protrayal of New York, but also for the way in which it breaks down the various stimuli that Ricky encounters on his journey and translates them a way that allows the audience to understand how he sees the world and the things around him. It looks to be a fascinating character examination that finds an entirely new way to connect with the audience.

The film is set for release by Oscilloscope Laboratories on May 23rd.

What do you guys think?
