Sony has released a new trailer for the upcoming DELIVER US FROM EVIL, and it is absolutely diabolical. The film stars Eric Bana as a cop who teams up with a priest (Edgar Ramirez) to investigate a series of strange and brutal crimes that seemingly go past the boundaries of human nature.
The first trailer had a few unsettling moments, but this one gives a much better overview of what can be expected from this film - and it's more than just that creepy-ass little stuffed owl. This footage shown here is much gorier, more intense, and 100% more demon-y (all of which, I consider to be a plus).
The film was directed by Scott Derrickson (THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE, SINISTER) and co-stars Joel McHale, Olivia Munn and Sean Harris.
DELIVER US FROM EVIL hits theaters on July 2nd.
