Ambush Bug here. I’ve always admired Kurt Busiek’s ASTRO CITY for it’s imagination and balls to create a whole universe of characters that are not just twists and turns on versions of the super hero icons we already have. Recently, ASTRO CITY began anew under DC’s Vertigo banner with Busiek returning to his super powered city along with artist Brent Anderson. Below are some of the first pages from the trade collecting the first arc of the ASTRO CITY releaunch, along with some fantastic exclusive character design pages by Brent Anderson and Alex Ross.
