The Weinstein Company is getting ready to release French import THE PLAYERS (LES INFIDELES), which stars Jean Dujardin (THE ARTIST, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET) and Gilles Lellouch (TELL NO ONE). The film is a comedic anthology, with several different vignettes strung together to highlight the many chuckles and laughs associated with infidelity, playing the field, and just being unable to keep it in your pants.
Dujardin and Lellouch directed a segment of the film together. Other contributing directors include Emmanuelle Bercot, Fred Cavaye, Alexandre Courtes, ichel Hazanavicius , Jan Koune and Eric Lartigau.
It's a little difficult to get an idea of exactly how this one will play out, since the trailer mostly consists of Dujardin and Lellouch being douchebags. The footage gives no indication that this is an anthology, so you can't really tell how the stories will differ or how they will play together.
The film was released in France in 2012, and is just now making its way stateside. It is due for release on April 4th.
