“Survivor” was the top-rated show last Wednesday, beating “American Idol” for the second time ever. Though “Survivor” and “Amazing Race” have both been renewed for next season, “Survivor” is doing rather better than “Amazing,” which has bounced between 1.5 and 1.9 this season.
“Duck Dynasty” which premiered with a 5.0 last August, has lost a lot of steam since its big gay controversy last autumn, but was still last Wednesday’s top cable show with a 1.9.
“Chicago PD” last week got an early renewal for next season. The higher-rated “SVU” did not.
