In a new twist on the buddy cop genre, LET'S BE COPS is the story of two friends (Damon Wayans Jr. and Jake Johnson) who are certainly buddies...but not so much cops. Until a costume party sets them on the road to impersonating police officers 24/7 - you know, for shits and giggles. As Romy and Michelle taught us all those years ago, there is no better way to get to where you always wanted to be than to just fake it.
It looks like it could be a fun buddy comedy, and Wayans and Johson seem to play off each other well. Plus, I am always on board for watching guys doing backflips, and instead falling on their heads.
